Erik RamseyMr. Ramsey, a Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult, adolescent and pediatric care, has provided counseling, psychotherapy, diagnosis and medication management in diverse clinical settings, incorporating biofeedback modalities in 1991 into his 20-plus years of applied experience. He uses Cognitive Behavioral and Solution focused approaches in conjunction with Applied Neuroscience. Mr. Ramsey introduced Neurotherapy into his practice in 2003, and has completed advanced training with industry leaders at EEG Institute and EEG Spectrum. He serves as Clinical Director at Neurofeedback Center of Virginia.

Mr. Ramsey has been involved in Psychiatric and Mental Health care for over 25 years. In 1997, Mr. Ramsey began his private psychotherapy practice, where he has assisted individuals in their search for solutions to enhance their individual growth using Brief Therapy and Hypnosis. Prior to starting his own practice Mr. Ramsey had gained extensive experience in diverse clinical and educational settings. Currently Mr. Ramsey also provides Group and Family Therapy as the Assistant Coordinator in the Psychiatric Partial Day Program at Georgetown University Hospital, one of the nations top 100 hospitals (Newsweek) due to it's successful Psychiatric Program.

Mr. Ramsey has worked with VNA Home Health, managing both a Clinical Team in the delivery of community mental health care and providing supervision to the Mental Health Team. Mr. Ramsey has provided other services for INOVA Health Source as adjunct educator, facilitator and trainer specializing in the areas of preventative health, interpersonal communication and stress management. He has over 30 years experience with meditation and has conducted meditation groups and uses meditation within the context of Solution focused Cognitive Therapy groups.
